Follow the next steps carefully to keep your journey on track:
Upload Your CLP to Your Student Portal
Most DMV or DPS offices will give you a paper copy of your permit, also called an Interim Commercial Learner’s Permit.
✅ FreeWorld accepts this document—you do not have to wait for the hard copy in the mail.
Upload your permit directly into your Student Portal.
Need help uploading? Follow the steps below
First, click on "upload your permit (CLP)"
Next, click on "Choose File"
Next, select the photo of your permit (CLP) from your photo gallery
That's it! Your permit has been uploaded successfully
Once your permit is reviewed and approved, your portal will automatically unlock the next checklist.

Complete Your Trucking School Pre-Enrollment Questions
After your permit is approved, your portal will display a new section titled:
📝 "Trucking School Pre-Enrollment Questions"
Take a few minutes to fill out the brief questionnaire. It helps us ensure that you are ready for trucking school.
Schedule Your Enrollment Call
Once you submit the questionnaire, you’ll be prompted to schedule a 10-minute call with one of FreeWorld’s Trucking School Enrollment Coaches.
🚨 Important: Do not try to enroll yourself in trucking school. FreeWorld will enroll you in one of our Trucking School Partners during your enrollment call. We've got you covered!
